Thread: Tips for almost medium length hair?

My hair, brushed out (little curl/wave) comes between my earlobes and my shoulder. I have a good trim scheduled in a couple weeks, but I am wondering what to do with my hair for my recital and the following CD release party I am attending. I do not own a curing iron or hairdryer, so it needs to be something pretty simple. I usually cover my head with a little coin headband thingie I made, but afterward my hair looks like caca from being weighted down all night.

a nice and simple thing to do is to divide your hair in sections (the more the sections, the tinier the waves/curls are going to be), twist each section until it's really tight and secure it with a pin/clip/band. now make your hair wet and let it dry naturally. when it's dry, take out all the clips or whaterver you used to secure your little twisted sections, run through it with your fingers and fix it with hairspray. done!

Good ol' fashioned pin curls... thanks for the idea!! I'll try that out this week and see how it goes! I think a little gel or even aloe vera gel while my hair is wet may be a good option too for that slick look.
