Bella v. Sim Moda Evi
What are the pros and cons of both designers?
Shipping, ordering, communication, quality of costumes, etc
And who is behind SME? A lot of his/her costumes look SO much like Bella's.....p::
Your final opinions on one or both?

Re: Bella v. Sim Moda Evi
Well, I like Bella's designs but I personally have found that Sim bras are much more comfortable, and Sim customer service is much better than Bella, but again, that's IMO.

Re: Bella v. Sim Moda Evi
I like them both. Prices are about the same, depending on how many pearls, stones and sequins are on the costume.
I have never custom ordered from Bella, but every single costume I had SIM make for me fit very well and was done in reasonable time.
And may I add Legend costumes. LOVE their designs! Good customer service as well and also work fast.
These are my 3 favourite costume designers and it's killing me that I only have a budget for ONE costume for my next trip to Istanbul....
(last time I got one from each of them)

Ismail uses smooth glass beads - Bella uses seed beads with sharp edges. Sim costumes are more comfortable and easier to take on and off. However Bella designs are just fabulous!!! Ismail will also custom design for you.

Re: Bella v. Sim Moda Evi
My opinion:
Bella is much better with her bras and the fitting. The bellabras save and beautiful. And Bella make every costume a little bit different. You don't find the really same costume in various colours. The price-range is wider, between 300 and 1400 Euro. And the costumes not so heavy and the colour-combinations are fine. The price is different, how much expensive Svarovskiy are used and how many handwork is in it. For example: The white costume was 500 Euro - a nice idea, not so much cristals, but unique and beautiful. The blue costume was 950 Euro, very unique and only custom-made. There is only a second one, was also my, but to short.

The SIM bras are more comfortable, but not so save like Bella-bras. I feel, they are not so fitting. SIM costumes are very heavy. You find one stile in various colours without changing in the details. Newly Sim is coppying some Bella-ideas and styles, but the colour-combinations for my oppinion sometimes awfully. For example: I ordered one costume in a nice flamingo-red, a cool colour. I have seen it in the SIM-shop with nice big red perl-flowers on it. It was not ready. I bought it, and if I got it, I could only cry! All the beauty was lost. There whas a combination of Silver-brown and anthrazid in the fringe and the decoration in combination with the nice flamingo-red! Formerly the costume has had such a fine pure decoration and now big blocking decoration and fringe....really other than we have decided if I was there. And I give it back, but Ismail will only change the decoration, but I feel this is impossible....

And in march i bought a yellow Sim, You can think, this is a Bella:

And mostly SIM's expensive...they start with 550 Euro...more than Bella.Last edited by Salima; 05-02-2010 at 07:12 AM. Reason: writing mistakes

Re: Bella v. Sim Moda Evi
The one Bella I owned I sold right away because it was not tightly sewn and was falling apart, though I have seen others of hers that were well made, amartia's and Malia's were AMAZING!!! IMO it seems like her work is not as consistent in quality. The Sims I have owned have been well made, he does awesoeme custom work and the quality has been more consistent.
You really can't go wrong with either one.

Re: Bella v. Sim Moda Evi
Question about SIM: where has the site gone? There used to be a site where you could see all the designs.

I have a Sim I'm thinking about selling because I rarely get a chance to perform anymore. It is so gorgeous!
