Thread: need help and/or opinion about matching

soo just got this pretty hot pink bra and belt and cannot for the life of me find a skirt to go with it. it's more like a bubblegum pink, anyone have anything to match it?

or know of any places i can get a skirt to go with it?

I think they are both very pretty, it just depends on what look you are going for - more of a pretty pastel, or a bit more intense tone-on-tone with the darker pink.

you could also check l rose - they will send you fabric samples for a small charge and have a TON of skirt options if you don't mind waiting a few weeks for it to be made for you.

Although, are those green highlights in the bra/belt {?}, maybe something that color to bring that color out a little more, adding contrast.

I second this, too. L. Rose is very good about sending samples and turning around orders very quickly.

Another option would be, if you know a local seamstress who could make something for you, you could go to a fabric store and pick out the fabric yourself.

I love the layered panel skirt with the dark pink on top, is that option #2?

i asked lrose for samples and non match =[ the set i have is a bubblegum pink...so does everyone agree on the darker pink skirt?

I agree with the other posts. #2 is far better than #1. But I personally don't like that style of skirt (I think the top layer shortens the legs visually by creating a horizontal line higher than the bottom hem) so I just make them. Super easy. Look for a pattern online and get some gorgeous perfectly matched chiffon or georgette and go to town!

My vote is for vibrant.
