Thread: hot/tropical color combinations

I'm having a hard time deciding on a bright summer-y color combination for a future costume order so I would love to hear some opinions and have you guys share some other awesome color combinations :) I'm really into bright colors and i'm a very visual person, so thus far:

coral & turquoise


Satin's hot Legend, lavender & pink


aqua & lilac


blue & green

the blue green would be stunning with your coloring

turquoise & blue


yellow, orange & red


fuchsia & red


pink & yellow

why thank u! i have a green cossie with some blue in it but not enough to make it a 'blue and green' costume hehe

I'm not sure, whenever i do the 'tests' that people suggest for determining which one, i'm half and half. :-/

When I think of tropical I always see shades of orange / coral with other colors.

How about orange / fucia (my all time favorite)
orange / yellow
pink / turquoise
kelly green / turquoise
hot pink / purple

oo yes i love pink and turquoise, and hot pink and purple together. and i love ur 'porange' flower costume marianna. u should post that ;)

my tropical orange and turquoise dahab will be on its way to me soon and i'm thinking of ordering a costume in lilac/lavender with aqua and turquoise accents.. similar to the pretty flower bouquet in the earlier post :)

i love yellow and electric blue, like the parrot.

I JUST bought some flower hair clips that look EXACTLY like the blue and green flowers. They have them at Claire's :) I just had to have them!
