Thread: Body glitter suggestions needed!

I am looking for good body glitter that will still stay on all night. Once in a while I would just like to be caked in glitter for my night club shows, it somehow makes me feel more comfortable in skimpy costumes. Any suggestions?

I just saw that they are carrying the Hard Candy line at Walmart. They had a ton of different kinds of body glitter in different colors...sprays, powders, gels...it was crazy! I wouldn't know which one to get, but I was pleased that it was an option.

For those crazy glitter moments, I like the Glitterbug by Lush. It has that big blueish iridescent chunky "disco ball" glitter, and it's made with a coconut oil base, so it leaves a bit of a sheen, too. Definitely the most Randa option I've tried, and I've tried a LOT of glitters. ..l;,

the mac glitter that i used for the first time last week was pretty randa-esque.

The other glitter that I usually use is from Claire's. its cheap and the white glitter is great. If you don't have any lotion on it's hard to stay on though.

Hey, beautiful. To make it last through the night, I think you want something that dries to the touch. I'd try applying a spray fixative like the ones by Make Up Forever or (probably better) Ben Nye to your bare skin and immediately fluffing on some dry glitter like Hard Candy or Ben Nye, then letting it dry. Bet you could even do multiple coats! Hmmm, off to experiment....

i bought claire's brand body glitter in a roll on container for $3.50 and it gave me the randa look. it looked really good too! :)

Party City has spray-on glitter for 4 dollars a can. Comes in silver, gold, and multi-color. Oh, and it takes a day or two to come off. They market it as a glitter spray for your hair, but it sticks really nicely to skin too. A lot of my friends who do burlesque use it.

I've bought spray glitter at Walgreens, too - usually in silver, gold, or both mixed.

BTW, I used to make homemade body glitter with aloe vera gel and fine craft glitter, but I discovered it can make me more prone to sweat, and the sweat mixed with the aloe gel makes me feel gross, so now I prefer the spray-on.

Im going shopping for makeup next week, im totally going to try some of these out!!!

NYX cosmetics makes a glitter in a gel base. I haven't tried it, but they have a lot of glitter products.
