i was looking through the pics and couldn't help but notice their awesome earrings! holy bling batman!!

The 2010 Miss USA Pageant

There are a lot of HUGE, sparkly earrings like that on eBay that are tagged "pageant" and often "drag queen". ..g.:

Love the earrings,HATE the heavy contouring...

Was it put on for big stage and then someone decided to shoot closeups?!?!:S

The ones on Maine are amazing! Well, all of them are amazing, but those go above and beyond.

Some of the earrings look a lot like some I've seen in Bijoux Terner (sp?) in airports for $10. LOL!

Probably sad to admit, but I didn't even know who my state's contestant was and had to look it up.

lol i didn't know either. but frankly, i don't care either. lol

i just watched the Miss Brazil 2010 competition last weekend and it was so predictable who was going to win. made ya feel like a whale too considering that they were all my height or so (5'8") and only weighed like 110-120 lbs.

Definitely a beauty, but I thought her eyebrows were overdone, or underdone, whichever the case may be. Sort of looked drawn on with a crayon.

I'd love to know what makeup brands and application techniques they use for these pageants and pics.

The make-up on most of them is really nice! To bad though that on some they forgot to do the whole thing: a perfect smooth face with spots and freckles on their chest doesn't look very nice IMO.

Wow! I really can't stand pageants, but DANG, those earrings are amazing! Almost enough of a reason to watch, in themselves. Oh, and I really like the evening gown worn by the winner.

Those earrings are what my parents dreaded me trying to wear when I got my ears pierced - my Lebanese grandmother wore big, heavy earrings, though not quite that fan-cy! I wonder if it's a cultural thing?? (PS Hooray for a Lebanese Miss USA!!!)
