Bad-ass! Almost looks like something you'd see on a vintage photo of Mata Hari.

I've seen it, better than I was expecting
No bellydancing in it but my teacher Shafeek Ibrahim is in it doing the Tanoura

Re: Gemma Arterton's costume in Prince of Persia...
After having played all the Prince of Persia games on the PS3 and absolutely hating the last game I shall jump up and down on my soapbox and refuse to see or support this movie.
There isn't any substance to this story. It's just a jumping hack n'slash videogame with some very sexist cliche dialogue which I hear is in abundance in this script.
The costume is ok. We'll have to check the stills to see the details though. That poster is all retouched.

well, i thought the game was ok (disclaimer: i didn't play them. my bf did, all of them, i just played part of the first). i kinda liked the concept of playing with time and all that though.

Re: Gemma Arterton's costume in Prince of Persia...
I couldn't even get past the beginning in the second game and threw my controller. Dialogue from the previews is cringe-worthy enough to know if I saw this I would want to throw something else.

I only played the original game, but didn't get very far (always falling into spiked pits and the like). ,r:;
Anyway, here's another view of the costume:

Re: Gemma Arterton's costume in Prince of Persia...
lol. i had a hard time with the whole running-on-walls thing ^^ but, whenever my bf would get stuck in some of the big fights he'd ask me to do it, for some reason my hectic running around/slashing through the air, was a good enough combination :D
about the film, thing i don't get (and bugs me): why did they change the names? seriously. that was unnecessary and even negative to me.
this is gorgeous too:

Re: Gemma Arterton's costume in Prince of Persia...
nope. We went to see the movie and wondered where the Persians were. I enjoyed the movie by my BF found it too much info, too many changes of scene and things going on.
Orientalism is still going strong in hollywood and in that light I liked it.

Re: Gemma Arterton's costume in Prince of Persia...
It was kind of meh. Nice eye-candy and cool effects, not much else of note, and I found the romance unconvincing. The fact that not one main actor was middle-eastern really annoyed me.
The costumes were nice though.
