Thread: Didn't know where to post this...sorry...

Hi everyone,
I recently found out that my job will have me traveling to the Oklahoma City area
and I will be traveling back and forth between June and September thus spending a fair amount of time out there and would like to know if there are any events going on in the area and if there are stores /vendors in the area where I can buy dancewear or practice wear ( tops pants scarfs ect...)

I am not a professional dance so I'm not really looking for a costume but would still like to something nice to workout/dance like the dance pants I've seen in many videos Any info you can give me would be appreciated.

Hi! I'm in Oklahoma City...welcome! :-)

So, we don't really have anything in the way of shops for bellydance stuff (the closest store for costumes is in Dallas), but you can get regular dancewear from the classical dance shops like Show Biz and workout clothes from Academy Sports.

Thanks so much for the information. I'll be in Norman. And would love to check you all out. Unfortunately with my schedule I may not be able to make for any classes this trip but I'll try to get to some of the performances around town and I'm almost certain that my next scheduled trip I will be alble to make it to some classes.
