Thread: customs Duties????

My troupe just placed a somewhat big order with Hanan...and we are spending a pretty penny. It just hit me that there is always a chance of getting hit with customs duties. I have never placed a custom order with a designer with out say dahlal or Audrena, so I am kind of stumbling through this. What are some of the experiences out there? How does she mark her packages and what service does she use??? Any advice in how to avoid the hefty fees would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Hanan probably has a preferred process. Some costumes mark their shipments as gifts. Only hitch is the shipment can only be insured for the declared value. Interesting topic. I am anxious to read everyone's responses.
