    Creating a cut-out???

    If you are trying to create a cut out in a costume that will fall on the hip, do you use something to reinforce it? If so, what do you use?

    I've done cutouts on belts and I reinforced with grosgrain ribbon and some floral/craft wire. I think it was 22 guage.
