yeaah... I did one.
and i don't even think i regret it, haha ^^
went in with a 300€ budget and gold/pink in mind, came out with teal and a pretty much doubled budget. my wallet is crying, but Ooooooh it's so prettyyyy ^^

I'm thinking, well, i've been a good girl. if i hadn't been i woulda come home with not one, but 3 costumes. Relativity is a wonderful thing ..l;,

so yeah. chances are this one'll be on the swapmeet soon enough, since i can't really afford it, but i don't wanna feel bad about that just yet. just let me bask in the warm sparklyness a little bit, before reality kicks in ^^

the teal color gets totally washed out by the flash unfortunately. i swear it is The Yummiest teal Ever.

i'll have some hook-moving to do, and some serious bra de-padding too. i swear this thing is padded full lol!
might add a couple strands of mid-bra fringe, cos i like that and this one has none.
anyhoo. i'm in looooooooooooooove ^^

i once went fabric shopping with Brigid, AKA the bad influence friend. i found this GORGEOUS silk chiffon at a store in NYC, the perfect shade of pink, and after asking for 8 yards to be cut, on the assumption that it was the same price as the other fabric that was next to it...... well the story ends with me spending $200 for fabric for 2 full skirts and 2 accent skirts...g.: (they are coming out very pretty tho ^_^

Tanya: got it from the only dance store in the area here ^^ i think the lady said it was an Eman? there was also an extremely cute Hannan with the most gorgeous beading, if it hadn't been for the slit up the center front of the skirt (which i'm not a huge fan of), i would've hesitated much more ^^

Fariha: don't we all have a friend like that...^^ i'm curious to see though, post pics when you're done!

yeah, that's why i was going to get a costume lol :D and, i'm definitely getting a photoshoot with this one before it leaves my hands! (lol, my bf is inciting to to keep it. told me "it's okay, we can sell the TV and our mattress" lol ^^)

Suits you perfectly! I love the shiny fabric of the skirt. Shades of blue, green and turquoise are always nice on blondes, especially when tanned ,r:;.

I love your boyfriend's comment btw. A man selling the tv for his girlfriend's costume, that is soooo romantic. Watching you dance instead of football games, that's a nice guy, so keep the costume and this man, too ..l;,
