Thread: Topical botox?

Has anyone tried this?

The Norstroms ladies talked me into trying it yesterday, and I have to say that the stuff they put on me--something by Dr. Rey that they said has topical botox--made a big difference.

But this stuff is EXPENSIVE. Before investing my children's college fund, I was wondering if anyone has any experience?

I like the results from Doctor-injected botox, never tried Dr. Rey's but i bet it's good

I have never tried this, For me the idea of Bovine toxin, what botox is short for never appealed but if its affordable and works for you - would say go for it

The "BO" in Botox is short for Botulinum (sp?) which is derived from the denatured bacterium that produces Botulism. (Clostridia Botulinum, if you're really interested.)

The Clostridia group also produces other lovely diseases like Gas Gangrene.

I knew that 30 yr old degree in Microbiology would come in handy some day!

Both the Bo and the Tox part of "botox" worry me enough never to even try it! I'm happy to grow old the normal way, and rely on good genes to keep me looking young!
