Hooks
Hi All!
I'm looking for some heavy-duty hooks for my costumes. I've looked at Joann's, but don't like what they have available. Suggestions on where to buy them or order them??
Thanks!

Re: Hooks
I know you said you tried Joann's, but I've had lot's of luck with the pant/skirt hooks that they have.

Re: Hooks
I don't like the Joann's ones either. They're not sturdy enough for my liking. I found two places that have great ones. These ones are like the ones you'll find on a Pharonics or Eman: Hook & Bar, Trouser or Skirt
And these are like the ones you'll find on Sims or Turkish costumes. You want the number 6 or King Henry hooks: Tutu.Com - Notions: Fasteners

Re: Hooks
They are called "trouser" hooks. I went on EBAY and got for $5.00(with shipping) a box of 100.

Re: Hooks
Thanks Shahla! The ones from the sewing place are exactly what I want! That's what's on my eman and on my eshta. I had tried looking up trouser hooks and had found lots of links to trousers!
Thanks Mehndi and Luvn for your responses too!

Re: Hooks
minervacraftsandfabrics.co.uk has the large hooks and eyes size 9. I ordered 5 sets of 10 on ebay for total of $12.93 usd. A little pricey, but glad to find them.
