Revlon's Photo Ready Foundation-Has anyone tried this?
Revlon's has a new foundation that is called Photo Ready Foundation. It supposedly gives your skin the perfect coverage for photos. Has anyone tried this? If so, what did you think? Is it heavy? I can't do any foundations that feel cakey or heavy on my skin so I tend to do tinted moisturizer instead. But I would like to try this.

Re: Revlon's Photo Ready Foundation-Has anyone tried this?
This is my HG (holy grail) foundation. After years and years of searching.... I've tried every foundation out there and THIS is the best. The coverage is beautiful - full coverage but not TOO full. It's definitely not cakey or heavy - it blends in with the texture of your skin sooo well. It sort of melts in to your skin. When I use this foundation I moisturize, apply a face primer (Monistat Anti-Chafing Gel woo woo,) apply the foundation with my MAC 187 stippling brush, go over any spots that need extra coverage (under the eyes, any blemishes) using my finger to apply, and set with a coat of loose powder applied with a kabuki brush. It's funny to see this posted here because my dance teacher asked me last week what foundation I use... I told her, and she's started using it and loves it.
Sorry if this post isn't very coherent. It's late and I'm tired. But I have to say I L-O-V-E this foundation.

Seconding everything catysue said! I hate foundation that looks or feels heavy. I have a heck of a time finding anything that matches my skin tone. Shimmery "luminizing" textures make me look lined and artificial. I have sensitive skin. In other words, I am the world's worst foundation customer. And I love this! I set with the most invisible loose powder I can find, either Ben Nye Neutral Set or Sonia Kashuk colorless matte. Not sure yet how well it stays on in performance, but I have high hopes. It's a real winner.

Lots of reviews here for Photo Ready (and I love that you can sort for age range and skin type!):

Re: Revlon's Photo Ready Foundation-Has anyone tried this?
I read somewhere that this foundation looks fine in real-life but on pictures it looks whiter than the rest of you and makes your face look ghostly. That's usually from titanium dioxide or whatever other SPF they use in this stuff. Have any of you here been using this long enough now to get pictures back to see how it looks?
I am looking for a good drugstore foundation for stage. I was using Estee Lauder Maximum Cover but they changed that most excellent formula and I'm PO'ed at them about it.
So I might as well see if I can find something cheaper than $34, since I have to look anyway.

Yes, would love to know post-photo shoot results as well, as I like to keep track of drugstore products that work well.
Thanks for bringing it up!

I am wearing the Revlon in my avatar pic. I dearly love this stuff and I normally hate liquid foundation (full believer in Bare Minerals)!
I use in anytime I have a show or a photoshoot.

Bumping for more reviews. I doubt I'll get ahold of any pictures that's going to show enough detail that I can tell about the makeup, but I wore this last night for a gig.

Beautypedia.com gave PhotoReady Makeup SPF 20 a pretty good review. (Hopefully the link works, Beautypediacan be something of a pain to link and navigate.)

I apologize for going off-topic here, but Sirene, I came across the coolest picture today. Go here: MERMAIDS OF ATLANTIS 2012 - Perfume Chat and Trading Post
Scroll most of the way down the page and check out "A Merman's Kiss".
That's an artisan perfume site, and they recently put out a collection of sea and mermaid themed scents. You can see and read about them on the main page here:

Re: Revlon's Photo Ready Foundation-Has anyone tried this?
I picked what I thought would be the best color for me, and it made me look white as a ghost, in person AND in photos. sigh.
The very best I've ever had was a professional airbrush job. At $50 a pop, that's not realistic except for when you plan to pay a lot for photos and want to make sure you look stellar--then it's well well well worth it--and it lasts for.ev.er. I looked like a goddess.

Re: Revlon's Photo Ready Foundation-Has anyone tried this?
I gave up on this type of shopping a long time ago. I never got the right color on the first try. Now I buy a RANGE of colors, try them all, and return what doesn't work.
@Darbla:
Pretty picture! I saved it to my harddrive.
I love the idea of the artisan perfumes, but experience has taught me to never buy perfume without sampling it first.

Re: Revlon's Photo Ready Foundation-Has anyone tried this?
I bought this because I am white as a ghost, and the match was pretty good for me. It really didn't stick to my skin very well though, so I didn't buy it again after it ran out. My skin was also very dry, but I don't know if that was because of the makeup or if that just enhanced it.
