Thread: I think I've died and gone to costume heaven!!!!

I normally would never do this---but I just got my new Eman Zaki dress from
Belle_Elen and I am SO happy I could burst!

My camera's dead, and I only have one full length mirror, so it's a
lousy pic, but I don't care ..g.:
It fits like a dream, the sleeves could be a tad longer, but it's not enough
to make a difference. I love this costume!

Here's my question though: I will wear my own
bra with it, so should I do black like the costume originally comes with,
or should I wear a nude color?

Hmmm, I think black without seeing it though. It looks like you are wearing a nude one now????....

I'd have to see both, but probably black. Lovely costume! You look HOT!

Yes, I'm wearing nude in the pic---it was all I could find in my fit to get the costume on when I got home!

Oh -- black bra. Wine to match the skirt would be pretty, too.

Unless you get the exact nude as your skin, I'd go with the black. In the photos your bra looks it look like you have gangrene on your girls!

GORGEOUS! I'd go with black, I think, and maybe wear a couple of those wide stretch rhinestone bracelets on your wrists to lengthen the look of the sleeves? Congratulations on a fabulous purchase, wow!

I will definately have to get out the black bra and try it on again after all of your suggestions

The bracelets are a great idea too. I did get extra maroon material with it,
so I thought about making cuffs too?

If there was enough maroon material to cover a bra with, that's what I'd do. Smokin' hot costume!

Lovely. I prefer the idea of a black bra. Re the sleeves, I've utilized 2 options due to strangely long arms. One was to simply split the sleeves to nearly the elbow, trim the edges and allowing them to flow free. Second was to split and rouche the sleeves a bit and stitch them so they appeared to be 3/4 sleeves.

Bellydance.com has the costume with a black bra and it looks gorgeous, I am another stalker of that costume.

Cover a bra with the maroon fabric, more polished than a black bra.

DANG, that costume is hot and it looks great on you! Agree that a darker bra would be a better choice, though. Please tell me I'll see this at the Bahaia show?

This is one of my favorite Eman desgins and I've always wanted one too.

It looks great on you. I vote with many others that black would be better than nude. I think it would set the gold beading on the bodice off better.

Just went to BD.com to have another look at the dress <sigh> couldn't find it But have pics on my computer, so you can see what the black bra looks like, I like the black, but you could wear maroon or beige/nude for different looks.

I stalked this costume for years now, and knew I'd never get it though--this was
costume karma for sure!

I do hope to have it ready for the Bahaia show Laura2, now I have to
do a dance to give it justice though!

I might have enough material to cover the bra, but not enough talent!
I will go with black--the bra that came with it is definately too big---
I didn't mention that, I bet it an F ? I'm not even sure, but it's
a way larger cup than me.

I think it is wonderful that you wanted to share your joy and I am so glad you did, I feel very excited for you, as you can see many of us are in love with that costume. Wear it with joy and dance your heart out in it, it is truly a beautiful costume.

so pretty. Yes I was watching that costume on bdstore again and again and thought, that is one pretty thing there... I'd use a black bra, definitely.

That is such a stunning costume, I have been stalking it for a while but I would want a color other than the burgundy. If it was in a blue or purple it would be mine!

I just got my first Eman the other day and OMG, I feel like a goddess in it. The fit is divine!
