I tried to answer this one without thinking about it. First thing that popped into my head to put on the list was Make-Up Forever Diamond Powder loose shimmer shadow in white gold, bronze, and champagne. Not very practical, but I love it!

Do you have $100 to spend at Sephora, or this question just for fun? :)

Oooh! I'd love to have $100 to spend at Sephora---although I could spend alot more!
I would have to stock up on all the Bare Escentuals colors that I haven't gotten because it too expensive!

And probably splurge on the Givenchy Phenomen Eyes mascara that I've been dying to try!

I'd upgrade my makeup brushes, then get some Urban Decay eye shadow with whatever's left.

Re: if you had $100 to spend at sephora....

i do need a few more eye brushes...i might have to think about that.
also, i think i need some highlighting eye shadows (for the browbone)

i'm good with my bronzer right now...and i have plenty of lipsticks and glosses.

also, i love the MUF hd concealer...i think i need a refill of that.

i never wear foundation because i just cant stand the feel of it on my face lol.

i do love the MUF diamond powder products. and i love urban decay shadows and liners.

so i think i'm looking for eye products...primer, concealer, liner, shadows.

i also want a very pale nudey/baby pink lipstick/gloss. i keep getting pinks that are too dark.

ok my list is getting long and complicated! suggestions?

    Happy birthday, and happy shopping!

Not sure what I'd buy...I think I'd get some BE foundation (stopped using it and went to something cheaper, but I miss it), eye primer, a few new make-up brushes, and a couple of new shades of eye shadow- LOVE new eye shadows! Anything left, a new OPI nail polish.

    Urban Decay Eye Primer

Stila Lip Stain, Benetint or Benetint Lip Balm

Smashbox Photo Finish Primer (The Massengil Chafing Cream that everyone says works just as well as Photo Finish isn't easy to find.)

Ooh, Shaabichic, thanks for starting this thread! I received a $50 gift certificate from a coworker recently for doing her a huge job-related favor, and I too have been trying to decide what to use mine for!

Looking forward to more recommendations on this thread....

Not to take sales away from Smashbox, but just in case you've been looking for it under a different name, this is the stuff you want:
Buy Monistat Soothing Care Chafing Relief Powder-Gel Online at drugstore.com

Oh! Happy birthday! What a great gift! I second the Urban Decay Eye Primer and I LOVE Urban Decay Glide On 24/7 Eye Liner, best pencil liner ever!! I'd also get a new blending eye brush and some new eye shadow colors....either from Make Up Forever or Urban Decay or Smashbox....happy shopping! :-)

Re: if you had $100 to spend at sephora....

First I think I'd let them do a makeover on me and see what they come up with. You may have to schedule that in advance.

If I didn't go with what they suggest, Urban Decay eyeshadows (very pigmented! and glittery!), and Benefit stuff because I love the retro look of the packages (the products are good too)! And lipsticks because I have not bought any lately so I'm feeling deprived!!! Would probably check out the Sephora brand of lipsticks first, then Benefit and Urban Decay, then spread out from there.

I make my own perfumes and soaps so I'm not so much on buying bath stuff, and I don't use much shampoo but go thru tons of conditioner and I'm OK with what I get at the drugstore for that.

How exciting! What a good BF. lol

I'd probably upgrade some makeup brushes and buy some more MUF eye shadow - I forget the exact product line, but I recently bought an AWESOME and very highly pigmented hot pink shadow from them that looks fabulous.

Hey Anisah! Try the L'Oreal Telescopic mascara - exact same shape of mascara wand with comparable results. And much less expensive!

    I second this!!!!

I've been wanting a Nars Multiple, probably in Orgasm (love the powder) or in the pale pink glitter shade I can't remember the name of.

But as a romantic gift from my man.... I'd choose one of the perfume gift sets. The ones that come with little sample bottles of lots of fragrances so you can try them all... and a certificate for a full-size bottle of whichever one you choose. I love perfume, and think it's the most personal and romantic gift imaginable.

what do you ladies think are essential eye brushes to have? i have a couple from sonia kashuk which are pretty good. i'm just wondering if there are more out there that i need, and what exactly they do that makes a diff when applying eyeshadow?

Benetint, then a nice box set that has everything in it (eyes, lips, cheeks, etc). I have a huge box by Tarte that has the best shadows.

I love Makeup Forever and Urban Decay eyeshadows. I also love the new Sephora by OPI nail polish. They have some great new brushes too, they have pink metallic handles.

I concur with the Too Faced Kits - I have all three of the Eye Kits: Naked, Natural and Smokey. They are awesome.

Otherwise, I'd probably get a large bottle of one of the Fresh perfumes - I love them. I'm wearing Sugar Lychee today.

I'd probably buy the expensive skin care stuff I can't usually afford, as opposed to stocking up on the less-expensive makeup that I can get fairly easily. Maybe some kind of a home peel kit, or retinol creams, or something.

Sephora has their own brand of sparkly eye shadows and lipsticks..I was in there the other day and only spent about 52 dollars..included in the loot was three new shadows (sparkly of course..got a coppery one, a sand one, and a silvery green one) and a copper sparkly lipstick that is scented!!

Is it the Shu Uemura? I thought I must be nuts to pay $19 for an eyelash curler, but is really is the best one I've ever used. I have long but very straight lashes, and it's made them look better than anything else I've ever used.
