Changing the Placement of fringe?
okay ladies I need your ideas. I bought this costume, I'm in love with it http://www.bhuz.com/forum/bellydance...-included.html
now, the "extra" short fringe on the bra I took off as it shortened my torso. should I leave the bra (and skirt) as is (now)? or should I add some of the short fringe I took off to the cups? and / or the skirt?
If adding, where do you think I should place the fringe (we dont want nipple tassels ..l;,)
Thanks in advance.Last edited by SaNoorah; 07-07-2010 at 10:38 PM.

Re: Changing the Placement of fringe?
I would take some of the beads off the short fringe and make just a few longer fringes to put in the middle of the bra.

I think I would keep it just as you have it now--without the short fringe added. As is, the fringe almost looks to short to me, so if you were to restring it onto longer strands or maybe loops, you might be able to attach them in various places on the bra and skirt.

Oh wait, nevermind, it already has that. I would just leave the short fring off. It seems unnecessary.

I think the longer bit of fringe in the middle is all you need.

yes, to clear things up (this is what happens when it's 12:30am ,r:;), the longer fringe (7") in the middle I left attached, I may actually shorten it just a tad as it comes pass my bellybutton ,r:; But figured I had extra fringe (the shorter fringe in 2") so wanted to come up with something.

Re: Changing the Placement of fringe?
I think it will look fine without adding any of the short fringe back to it.
It's beautiful!
I love the skirt!

Re: Changing the Placement of fringe?
What about restringing some of the shorter fringe to longer bits and adding them to the sleeves somehow? It's a lovely costume.
