Thread: favorite dance pants?

i find the ones from sharifwear (the black ones at least) to be too thin and see through for me. haven't tried the ones with the print but does anyone have any other recommendations for good, slightly thicker but breathable and sturdy dance pants? most of my exercise ones are getting too big for me.. :-/

i prefer sleeker styles since i have aerial arts before dance class as well and cant have extra bulk at the end so it doesn't get caught in the silk!

I bought three pairs of L Rose jazz pants 5 years ago... I wear them every week to dance class, often for working out, yoga, lounging around the house, etc. They still look brand new. The ones I have are stretch velvet, but I know she offers smooth fabrics as well.

i just wear leggings from target or wherever. shows my legs for class and is stretchy.

i 2nd leggings...

I bought these for hot yoga, but they are my favorites all around. The fabric is not see through at all, and they are highly moisture wicking. And drats, I'm seeing sale ends tomorrow and am now tempted to buy another pair!
Victoria's Secret - V-front yoga pant

I have worn out the dance pants from Jasmin Jahal's studio… also love Lucy brand pants that have a slight v-dip in the front.

Love Magidahwear -- the fabric is optimal and I love the cut. She now has capris!!!

For something easy to get, The Gap yoga / exercise pants are great.

I love the foldover Yoga pants I bought from Victoria's secret. Especially practical in Winter because you have material to cover your back/belly during breaks. And they last for ever!

leotard and tights for teaching.other than that, i do not own any type of pants , period !

tights are way better than leggings. i used a pair once, the knees wore out in 3 days. i use figure skaters tights in winter.

athleta.com sells yoga pants that are a little pricey but very comfortable and last a long time.

I just wear Danskin pants for class.

I think it just depends on they type of leggings you get- I have a couple pairs from Blue Canoe (I like organic cotton!) that have lasted for YEARS of hard use.

Right now I am loving Earth Creations Prague Pant- expensive but insanely comfortable & last forever.

Dunno...love my Sharifware pants. I wear them to my office (fold overs - no frou frou) under a nice blouse on the 3 days I teach after work. I have never felt they were too thin.

the ones i have are black and thin, and ive seen other dance mates wear similar ones too, and maybe im too paranoid but i can def see through them :-/

....do you do floor on a daily basis ?...if so, im impressed. i have never found leggings to last past a few days in the knees

American Apparel Fold over yoga pants. Get them on e-bay 2 pr for $20 more or less.

I love my Melodia's, some I've had for 5+ years and they are still going strong.

My new favorite are Geisha Moth's cake capris. Sooo stinkin cute and ruffly!

i was thinking about zana's other class...leggings would be good cuz they dont have any loose material to get caught in the ropes

i like those melodia capris...but they are pricey!

I know! I got mine via a fellow bhuzzer and totally liked it!

They are having 35% off sale right now, but nonetheless it would be to much for me to buy them new, considering overseas shipping, customs etc. ,f::

Maybe they wear them too tight!

I got some very funky yoga pants from Balidog.com and some from Vumawear.com. They have a large selection of different designers. I especially like my "Margarita Pant w/ Mesh" which I wear to the gym - the mesh is soooooooooo comfy for warm weather. Hard Tail also has some nice ones.
