Maybelline Vulum Express"the Falsies
Has anyone tried this new mascara yet . It claims to give oyu false eyelashes in a tube. Any pros or cons to this before I try it. I think another make up company makes something similar I could be wrong.

Now, for the important question. Does it come in a vibrating tube? .w.:..l;,

Re: Maybelline Vulum Express"the Falsies
I bought it, and it was ok. Didn't smudge or flake on me, but didn't give me a lot of volume. (Though it gave me a lot of length.)
The original Maybelline Colossal still has my heart though, it's the best.

I bought this for the sole purpose of trying it for Bhuz!
I think it does a really good job of lengthening lashes, but does not add volume, exactly like phillyraks said. It doesn't seem to clump too much.
I wonder if layering a different type over this type would look good.

So, I'm wearing this today and have for the past couple of days and I agree with Sandra's and Phillyraks' assessment. It builds decent length, but not so much on the volume. It's an average everyday mascara, but in no way makes your lashes look false.

Re: Maybelline Vulum Express"the Falsies
Ya I tried this out hoping that maybe I wouldn't have to struggle with false lashes anymore for shows (since the last time I tried that I ripped out half of my left eyelashes LOL).
...But, no. Its an alright mascara, but doesn't do any more then a normal one does. I bought Dior Show mascara the other day too since I heard great stuff about it, but I found it didn't do anything special either...
back to the real falsies I guess :( unless anyone else has great mascara suggestions?

Try L'Oreal Double Extend Beauty Tubes mascara. It gives me both length & volume, to the extent that my troupe leader couldn't believe I wasn't wearing false eyelashes for our 4th of July parade. ..g.:

Oh, I know they do. In the commercials and in the print ads.

Re: Maybelline Vulum Express"the Falsies
Yeah, I've been really disappointed with Dior show too - and I think I paid 27 bucks for it, compared to 6 for the maybelline falsies when on sale.
I'm still a maybelline colossal fan, but still searching for that perfect mascara - I think I have at least 20 tubes!
Oh, and lashes are totally fake in commercials - so is hair (you know when they do those slo month shake of the head shots)

Re: Maybelline Vulum Express"the Falsies
Ya, I think I paid 30+ bucks for the Dior Show so I was expecting so much more. I'll stick with trying every drug store brand till I find the best one, I am a mascara junkie! I actually really like Lash Blast from Covergirl, I've had people ask me if they are my "real lashes" while wear it.
maybe I should try Colossal...
side note: anyone tried the "permanent" lash extensions?? One friend of mine did it a long time ago but said that when they took them off her real lashes also went with them :( wondering if maybe there is a certain type thats better then others?? anyone else tried it and had a good experience??

Did anyone happen to catch the tiny disclaimer on the bottom of the TV advertisement? It says the modals are wearing individual false eyelashes. My 7 year old pointed this out to me LOL!

I just threw away a Maybelline Waterproof mascara because it felt so horrible. Found this article:

This product is a "falsie" by itself... does not do what it claims it does... as a regular mascara... hmmm, it's ok....

Re: Maybelline Vulum Express"the Falsies
I won't try it ONLY because they have ON false lashes in the commercial (like posted above)! I can do that!!! Colossal makes my lashes hard and break off!!!! But I do like my mascara for the moment..."BAD GAL LASH" by Benefit...adds fullness ..at least for me.
Good luck!

Re: Maybelline Vulum Express"the Falsies
The only mascaras I've found that successfully fake falsies (is that redundant?) are the good "tubular" ones -- pricey Fiberwig or the drugstore equivalent, Maybelline Define-A-Lash. I use the waterproof version of the Maybelline, and it doesn't go ANYwhere. Curl first and don't let them dry between coats or you'll get a big mess!

Re: Maybelline Vulum Express"the Falsies
Clarins base the best! it can be used as top or base coat and when you use this on top of any mascara, it makes everything waterproof! my colleagues always ask if i have fake lashes on when i use this. if you want really thick and long lashes, use 2 to 3 coats of this, then regular mascara, then any coat of clarins and then mascara. can keep layering it.
one time i put this on at least 3 hours before departure time, operated a 12 hours flight, back to hongkong and immediately went to two dance classes. my lashes still looked the same!
