I dont have a brand new one but here is my new-to-me Sahar!

Hi, I was in Egypt the last two weeks and here my new Sahars....

I looove how Sahar's costumes fit

no performance pictures yet, but here is my new Sahar. I made the skirt smaller and added some fringe strands and crystals.

Ooo Khalida! I just got a Sahar like yours in the metallic turquoise! It's so pretty on you! Mine doesn't have as much bling, so you've inspired me to remedy that with my hot glue gun and some swarovskis!

hahaha! I was totally gonna post pics of it with the caveat that I sold it. I won't post anymore and instead anxiously await your photos! Can't wait to see it again!

So I have a weird question about these Sahars with the long dangly pieces, like these:

what happens when you spin? When you stop, do they hit you and does it hurt? They also don't seem practical for tight restaurant spaces, like you might turn and whap someone with them.

They look beautiful, but they seem like crystal maces to me. I feel like I might be a danger to myself or others.

Yes, they hit you and no, it doesn't hurt! They're very light. I wouldn't wear one in a tight restaurant space, far too risky, but then I wouldn't wear a $700-$1000 costume around food anyway
