Re: Bump on a Rump..the cure for noassatall syndrome
So glad that I will never need anything like this! :)
A tribal woman in Botswana was telling us about how the most desirable women in their culture have big butts. She then showed us one of their dances that emphasizes the butt and grabbed me and a couple of the other curvy women to dance with them. When she grabbed me she said, "You! You have wonderful big butt!" lol

I always see commercials for padded underwear. The selling point is, "You pad your bra. You might as well pad your butt too."

I want some!
But I have to say....bump on a rump sounds like something undesirable. "Doc, I've got a bump on my rump." ..c::.w.:

Now, we should sell our tainted version of William Tell to Preparation H's creative department. It could be the new hemmorrhoid-busting anthem! .w.:..l;,

But the very best part is their tagline: "Take your gluteus to the maximus!" That's just plain perfect.

I pad my butt and my hips so that my costumes fit a little better. I have NO waist and it helps a tiny bit. You can get padded panties in most larger dept store lingerie sections. Here is what I use: Hip and Butt Enhancer BUTTILICIOUS - achieve hourglass feminine figure with butt pads and hip pads

Re: Bump on a Rump..the cure for noassatall syndrome
Back to the original topic (I won't even TOUCH the toolbox!!!), I'm glad to see that somebody has designed a padded panty that's fairly discrete under costumes. I've always wanted to try the tranny pads, but so many I've seen are so high-waisted and bulky ..c::

Re: Bump on a Rump..the cure for noassatall syndrome
It still kills me that there are people who PURPOSELY make their butts bigger! Take some of mine! Please!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!! I'd do a lot to have a butt that doesn't outgrow pants before the rest of me does, doesn't look funny in clothes that fit close to the small of my back, etc.... Oh, to look actually proportionate!
(FWIW, I wouldn't pad my bra either. I tried it a few times when I was self-conscious in middle school [and hanging out with my pretty, well-endowed cousin who always got lots of male attention while I was always very homely, let's be 100% honest here], but that was it. Years of being told by large-breasted women how lucky I am have soaked in, lol. You may not be able to tell I'm female very easily, but I've never been in danger of losing an eye, and I'm okay with that these days)

Dude...filling out my ass is more a matter of saftey. My troupies actually have a hand sign for me when my belt slips into the "danger zone". My butt crack stops somewhere beween my shoulder blades.

Re: Bump on a Rump..the cure for noassatall syndrome
HAHAHA! Well, I guess there is such thing as NO @ss at all...my partner has that problem, and I admit that wouldn't be fun either. He does tend to have a crack problem, lol. He wore a kilt for his cousin's wedding, and it didn't even occur to me to suggest he wear suspenders...no idea why I didn't think of it. I looked at him halfway through the reception and thought, "why is the stitched part of his pleats hanging halfway down his thighs?" (normally the pleats are stitched down at top, then at about hip height they fall free) I realized it was because his kilt was sliding down! (Being a terrible person, I did not go up to him and tell him to hike it up...instead I turned to our friend and asked if she wanted to make a bet about when it might finally fall off....)

Re: Bump on a Rump..the cure for noassatall syndrome
Is it any creepier, or more misleading, than a woman who wears a Wonderbra? Not saying I'd be thrilled to discover I was dating a guy who sported padded shorts... just wondering why we feel like it's OK for us to mislead them about the goodies but not vicey versey?
(padding bras or panties for performance is different.. that's stagecraft.)
Nearly ALL bras these days are padded, or at least constructed of shaped padded foam, which does add size & reshape. It's very hard to find one that isn't, outside the sports bra section. I don't know how a guy can possibly know whether he's leering at real boobs, silicone, or tricot foam any more. Of course, many of them don't care. LOL

Re: Bump on a Rump..the cure for noassatall syndrome
Exactly! The padding on mine is very light--maybe an 8th of an inch thick if that? But it keeps me from looking like I'm smuggling tic-tacs, which is a look I can't stand! I don't think it does much for the boobage.
(I much prefer plain fabric bras--I don't need underwires and foam bra cups that hold their shape after I take the bra off have always creeped me out a bit for some reason, but I'd rather be creeped out than go back to crossing my arms over my chest in a chilly room. I'll also make a plug for those silicone nipple smoother thingies, which I just got a pair of...no clue why I didn't do it years ago! I wouldn't wear them every day and they trap sweat, which is a bit icky, but I'll never need to try to hide a bra under a tank top [again to avoid nipple-age] again!)
