When ever you get a second hand costume, unless the previous owner has changed out the lining, that is one of the first things you should do! If there is an aroma, first try the vodka trick, then be willing to hand wash. Give plenty of time to dry.

Vodka/water is best when you spritz it quickly after using it. For set in oders, washing it and replacing th elining is the best bet.
