Who is a decent vendor for chiffon skirts?

I used to buy from Ravenna designs (good quality for the price) but they are sadly no longer. I am looking for a chiffon circle or side slit skirt but want a more ruffled edge at the bottom.

Who do you buy from in the states that is pretty reasonable and decent quality? I don't need top of the line, but whenever I look online, I can't tell how sheer those skirts are (or how cheaply made).

saw that but some of the posts didn't care for the side slit skirts, which is what I need. So I was hoping to find other vendors.

Where do you all buy your skirts from?

    jo ann fabrics ^_~
i've never found any that were full enough for me AND affordable enough for me AND made with not-ugly fabric pre-made. i've made 2 sets with fabric from Jo-anns, 8 yards casa chiffon for the outer skirt (40% off coupons are your friend)(i use a poodle skirt pattern with about a foot added around the bottom, full circle in back and half in the front) 4 yards of lining in the matching color for a panel skirt with matching slits (so that my skirt isn't see through) and more of the chiffon for harem pants, however full you like to make them.
i also get about 25 yards of the flat sequins in a matching color (red skirt, red sequins) to trim them with, if you go the correct way they're super easy to sew over. using the color of the skirt instead of a metallic makes it so you can wear the skirt with any bedlah.
just let them hang for a LONG LONG time (and wet them a couple times while they hang) before hemming. you either need a hem marker or a very patient friend to hem them, since there is so much fabric.

Whew RaqFaria! WAaay over my head. But those skirts sound magnificent!
I am kicking myself that I didn't pay attention during the sewing unit in my Jr. Hight living skills class.

hahaha, they're pretty easy. if you can sew a straight line and cut along a pattern you can make them. hemming and the waist band are the only curves involved.
well, good luck. if you turn up dry and want details on making them let me know ^_~
