Thread: Online Vendors for White Powermesh?

Where the hell has all the white powermesh gone? My local Joann's had a bolt of it for months, but now that I need a couple of yards, it has disappeared. Denver Fabrics entire dancewear section seems to be either empty or malfunctioning. I placed an order with Spandex World for three yards of the stuff, only to be called a day later and told it was out of stock and they didn't know when they could get it. I have done a some looking, but I am failing to find white. Does anyone else have a source?

That one is a little more expensive, but it may be the way to go if I can't find it elsewhere. I love the range of products they carry, I wish the shipping didn't look so steep. Thanks!

It looks like they stock nude and then have a style card available for other colors. Perhaps you can special order it? I'll have to contact them and see.

Sew Sassy is still showing it as being available. Sew Sassy Fabrics - Bra and Foundation Fabrics

The more I dig through the Fabric Dept site the more I fear my wallet is in serious trouble. They have some amazing stuff! Metallic red leopard powernet! And their Lycra prints!

I may need to order from Sew Sassy just to save me from Fabric Depot's vaster temptations:)

What the local Joanns had I think was white power mesh. I never saw the heavier power net. I have ordered it from Spandex World. Also Tutu.com. They have several weights and colors (plus nude, black and white) Both powermesh and powernet.

I have tons of white stretch net. But not power mesh. Those two are very different and actual power mesh is going to be hard to find. But if you want standard white mesh I can help you out.

Specialty Fabrics, Powernets

And light weight power net in a bajillion colors:
Lightweight Powernets

I have swatches of the light weight stuff. It is substantial enough to use in costumes. It is about as heavy as what my Pharonics naked dress is made of, or sugar petals "mesh" bodystockings.

Hi, so the light weight stuff you mentioned above is like the sugar petals bodystocking fabric? The sugar petals site says it's "Power Net" I have been looking for another vendor for a while. I was ablel to get the Power Net before but now the vendor I used is out of business. Thanks!
