for all you fellow peacock costume lovers, i just saw this picture on FB. Mercedes Nieto's peacock:

It's not too naked, but I don't find the design to be particularly attractive.

It doesn't show a lot of skin, but I'm not crazy about how you can see the underpinnings through the flesh-colored fabric - the shape of the bra cup, her underwear, etc. This detracts from the rest of the design, IMNSHO.

Also, when going for a theme, there's a fine line between being whimsical and silly - if I designed this costume, I'd either evoke the peacock shape OR integrate peacock feathers into an otherwise non-peafowl design, but the bird with real feathers attached to its tail just doesn't do much for me.

i think if the rest of the design was simple except put the peacock on the skirt, that would look better. like how some of the Eman's have it.

I think it was TanyaLV who had a Bella in peacock colors, with peacock feathers dangling from the skirt. One of the nicest peacock-themed costumes I've ever seen!

I like it :) Would like to see what the bottom is like though

I'd love to see it in a long shot, from a little further away, or even in a action shot on stage.

Mercedes Nieto's costumes are different. I really like the one that has the halter top with the necklace hanging and rhinestone pants under a skirt that seems to hang off her hips. Does anyone know who creates her costumes?

She made the necklace one herself, it is stunning in person! Saw it in Poland in June, it has a light blue-with-flowers skirt to go with it.

Yes, I love that costume, very unique. I just viewed her newest video and it shows a little bit of the costume that this thread initially talks about, but it's in short snippets and not detailed, kinda dark. I really like it... from what I could see. Dress @ 0.10 & 0.44

I'm not particularly fond of the front of the dress, but I really like the feathered back.

yah, i thought that was cool too

and i like that necklace costume too

The feathers on the bra look strange (like her breast is molting) but the front part where they are on the birds tail are beautiful.

I'm actually thinking of adding some to my peacock colored Bella and its good to see what placement works and what might not.

Yes, that's the one I'm talking about! Khalida said that she made the costumer herself? Great job! Love it because it's so unique and love the thights and how they are attached on the toes. I don't have great legs and I've been wondering how to incorporate leggings into my costume.
