I went in for a mani yesterday and my nail tech told me about new OPI Axxium. Its a gel lacquer that gets brushed onto your natural nail and then dried under the UV lamp. It makes a super hard overlay and is supposed to last for 2-3 weeks. She said they can polish your nails with any color and apply the clear axxium over the polish or you can choose from one of several tinted gels. I went with a tinted gel that was supposed called I'm India Mood for Love-- a bright fuschia. The color ended up being very sheer but I love the hardness and think the shine and overlay will last for a few weeks as promised.
I'm wondering what others have heard or experienced--especially about the tinted gels--why was mine so sheer?
