Hello Everybody!
I want to share with you my works that were created in the past 3 years. I could never find my perfect costume, so I stopped trying and made my own, now I make all of my costumes (crazy, i know...). I would like to hear your opinions, critics etc)

Love them... the lime, leopard, witch, and red fairy especially. I almost bought the leopard on ebay a while back... must have been more than a year ago maybe?

I don`t have any training, I use to have an old "singer" in Russia, that interested me just for plays. One day here I found another old "singer" in trash and just couldn`t walk by. That`s the only professional device I have)

Your costumes look very well made and well thought out. I like how you have a clear understanding of colour, shape and design. These are quite beautiful. Personally, I like them better than the mass produced crap you see being pumped out of Turkey and Egypt.

I like the red fairy very much.

I really like the shape of some of your belt designs, very flattering.

I wish I had more time between working and studying for this, but now it is going realy ssssllllloooowwww...
Even when I have time, I don`t always have the mood or get bored quickly)

OK seriously - I used to make all my own costumes too and I'm working on a red one now.

So, I know how difficult and time consuming this is.

I think all your designs are stunning. They are all quite different and expresse completely different aspects of your personality.

Thus it's really impossible to choose. They're just terrific!

PS I try to teach my serious students how to make costumes, so they'll understand how to get a perfect fit, #1, but also so they'll do as you've done and create a style of their own. I think it's an important part of the art - and - making your own costumes helps you recognize a ready-made outfit that will express your style, or design one to be made.

I have to say very few people have the patience and talent to make even a simple outfit let alone anything like these!..g.:
