Add a 3/4 circle skirt and maybe some fringe and it might be OK - but not for me.

You are right...they are bike shorts...and yet, it is still stupid and over priced.

Well, Mr. or Ms. Mamdouh can keep that design!

My favorite pic is the last one where the the camera is apparently trying to give us a close up of the bra decoration (mmmkay), and the model has one of those sexy-lingerie poses with her hands kinda on her . . . well, kinda low on her torso.

But my fave part of the design is visible in the second-to-last photo where the model has her back to us and shows us the lovely decoration tastefully planted firmly on her butt cheeks.

Oy!

Ugly and overpriced.

Uber ugly! MR. Mamdouh apparently likes to make costumes that are sexy and revealing... so I've heard.

Lol... they model all their costumes that way. I think it's weird, but you can kinda get a feel for how long the costume is that way which is nice.

I feel so sorry for that one model in particular. they seem to always put her in the worst wigs and the skimpiest costumes.

I have know this guy for years now. Mamdouh Salama was/is the designer for Egyptian nightclub dancers. This is his scene and he is extremely well known. I go with him as often as i can checking out new clubs and dancers and seeing some of his great designs in action...some are also very...erm.. mmm.

His collaboration with Fady Victor made Oriental Moon which was slightly revised/modest designs for the Western pallet.

This is obviously one of his nightclub designs which obviously was wanted by the people at Belly dance store.

He is still a pretty good designer and very much in the moment.

I wonder what the difference would be in the price for the egyptian nightclub dancer vs the american dancer???

And Dina, as outrageous as her costumes might be to many of us, usually has most of the important bits covered up . . . although I have to squint sometimes when I see her bras as I am afraid of fall out . . . still love her costumes though and love to watch her dance.

Thanks for the info! I do like some of his more covered designs... wish the bras fit on every one I've ever tried.

i think kitty is wearing shorts in the picture but they are very form fitting which is why.. well... yeah...
i'd actually prefer it if it was a mini instead of a mini in the front long in the back.. would that be the mullet of costumes.. ? lol
haven't had enough coffee today.
i agree on the sheerness, it would require something added underneath.

Well... an individual costume or model does not come up with that link any more, which means it sold!
Kitty did have two wigs that were...unfortunate - the REALLY big one and the blond one. Almost all her other hair styles have been her own. She's an art student and constantly changing her hair.
Yes, the Mamdouh in question has bike short underneath.

I disagree. They always put her in those ridiculous platform shoes and put her hands touching herself, ugh. And I don't care for the wigs either. I don't really like her "look" but I know a lot of people do. She doesn't convincingly look like a belly dancer to me.
