Hi =)

Im saving up money to buy one of my absolute favourite costumes..

On Dahlal they only have 3 colors pictured, and I know there are many Venus-lovers on Bhuz!

So show me your pretties!

Isildriel, I know you have some! :p

Here is Venus in teal, absolutely this was one of the greatest colours of costume that I have ever owned. I no longer have it, but I believe it is still being danced in by the lovely Suzana.

If you search on the swap pages venus or goddess maat a few other colours will come up too :) Ive seen a yellow and a couple of purples. I had it in Teal and it was a stunning colour!! I miss it actually :)

I have that one now. But I thought it was new. Now I'm finding out it had 2 owners prior to me.

Funny story about the leopard.
My friend ordered a custom brown Venus from an online vendor. It arrived - and it was leopard. She sent it back and they said they'd just have a different skirt/arm fabric attached.

What actually happened is that they posted it on-sale (and I snapped it up, seeing it was actually in my size) and she waited a long time to get a new one. We wear the exact same size and have traded costumes back and forth, so when she saw it, she knew exactly what happened.

I've had this model in several colors. My first was a red one, and my second was a white irridescent one. And then I got a unique orange one, but sold it new to Andalee (above) because I still have an irridescent blue one. I will probably hang on to that one for awhile :)

I made a venus bra for a bhuzzer. She lost the original and wanted to make some changes. It really wasn't hard at all. It was raspberry red which Is my other fave venus color besides teal. I'll try to find a pic.

i love this style, in theory and on others, for some reason it never works for me :(

I used to have this juicy grape venus but sold it about 6 months ago. I loved it except the bra cups are so shallow! Andalee--let me know if your orange crush decides to move on (wink wink)

I find that true of all Pharaonics. I LOVE Pharaonics, but have to accept the fact that the bras just don't work for me.

Hi, Sandra. The teal Venus was a custom order for Saideh. I bought it from her and later traded it to Eshta for another costume. I did not at any time describe the costume as brand-new or myself as the only owner. It was a few months ago, and memories aren't always accurate, so I'm more than happy to send anyone (including Eshta) copies of our correspondence, which included photos of the costume worn by the lovely Saideh. All of the details of the costume's history and condition are there.

I'll also be happy to share detailed information on the costume I received in trade for the Venus, for comparison with the description and measurements that were provided prior to the transaction.

I try very hard to be a good communicator -- it's essential to my day job, too -- and I do my absolute best to provide honest and accurate information. I won't discuss this further here, but anyone who has questions or concerns should feel free to e-mail me at mizmar at verizon dot net.

No problem, Sandra! Eshta's post might have set off alarm bells for me, too, if I weren't familiar with the situation.

Eshta, I'm perfectly calm. It's important to be very clear and very honest in these transactions, and I know that I am, personally, so I have nothing to be concerned about here.
