    costuming help for my man...warrior dude

    okay so for our halloween hafla I suckered my hubby into performing with me...going with a warrior chic theme and I am doing part sword dance and we will do part battle, ect....I dont know how to dress him. LOL.

    He didnt want to get a costume from the place I bought mine, and he doesnt want to spend alot for something he will wear once...

    any ideas??? LOL

    Well, what kind of warrior? What era? What geography? Fantasy or reality? What are you going to wear? It's hard to make a recommendation when we don't know whether you'll look like a Safavid lady or Xena Warrior Princess.

    I guess its more Xena like. I am having custom bra/belt set done that has a metal look to it. I will wear a short black skirt and my black leather boots...and have a headpiece with horns LOL

    at first, I was going to have him to the bad guy that I would slay, but now I am thinking, maybe I will be the bad girl and he can be the good one..LOL

    can't you both be bad? (more fun that way!) it's just deciding who 'wins'- maybe you can form an evil coalition...

    I suggest going to the thrift store & seeing what they have in leather. Supplement with Duct tape.

    LOL...yes, that was another option....but I will win at the end! LOL
