Thread: How to measure inside of cup? vertical/horizontal/diagonal

I've been using Jewels' pictures to measure for a while now (thanks for those!). For the majority of dancers, they are great. But since I have a large cup and small frame, when I buy or list a costume I post additional dimensions that give an idea of the cup depth and coverage at the sides.

I'm also careful to only measure to cup edge, not any additional fabric outside the cup shell. For the diagonal, I measure from the bra center, through the deepest part, to the outer edge (rather than where the strap attaches) because I need extra coverage on the outer part of the cup and where the strap attaches can vary greatly.
