Ancient Reflections sewn to bedlah ...???...
I finally got the Ancient Reflections I bought off Mahira contorted into my size by shortening the belt and enlarging the bra.
I want to sew it to a bedlah but am not sure what shape belt looks right. Should I make a straight narrow belt or go with butt cupping shape? I'm tempted to go with full butt cup belt for practical reasons such as I already have one and it will prevent the links from snagging my skirt but it may not look right.
... Any opinions out there or, even better, pictures?
Oh another question. Out of the extra pieces I made armbands, head ornament, ankle chain, necklace, medallion for the back of the bra, earrings... now combine this with the belt, bra and drape ..... Is it too much of a good thing as in less is more?Last edited by xochitl; 10-18-2010 at 05:04 PM. Reason: one more question

Ooo, I can't wait to see it.
Here's a link to a thread that might help. I thought there was more out there but I can't seem to find them right now.

Do a search on this forum with the word "Mount." How to mount an Ancient Reflections or coin / bell costume is an ongoing topic and has many threads.

Isn't Bhuz educational? Thanks for your suggestions and links to all things Ancient Reflections. I saw the belt configuration that seems to work best in the pics so I have a plan in mind. Being swamped in sewing projects right now I'm taking the path of least resistance and I'm going to buy a cheap0 but custom size bedlah from isis exchange and harvest the fringe for another costume and use the base for my AR set. Two solutions at once. Will post pics when finished.
