Re: bustle?
I don't have any suggestions on how to make one, but if you want one already made, TanyaLV had one for sale. I don't know if she sold it already, but it might be worth asking her.

Re: bustle?
You can get a pretty good bustle effect just by picking up a circle skirt at the sides and bringing them round to the back and tucking into your belt. It works super well with the tribal-style tiered skirts and I've seen it done with a coloured ruffle on the skirt to great effect. Any full skirt with varicoloured ruffles or tiers will give you a cool bustle effect, even if the skirt is only mini or knee length (and you could wear it over pants or an underskirt).
I have a "skirt" that has a simple bustle/train effect, that is literally a big rectangle - get your fabric, fold in half, sew together, then sew up the top edge, leaving a space big enough for you to step into. Add a button and loop or simply pin to close at the waist or hip as desired. The "corner" falls into a point over your bum and you can lift up, tuck and pin with brooches to create a more elaborate bustle look.

Burlesque Bustles can be found here to make:

Patterns in History has this:

I looked for the page I read showing how they took a rolled up towel and placed it around the hips somehow, I didn't find it, but maybe you can look at the ones shown and make one or buy the pattern. Most seem to be wire bustles or the other with layers topped off with layers to create the effect.

Re: bustle?
My ghawazee bumper is a stocking filled with wadding, tied together with a non-stuffed section to keep it flat in front. Easy.I looked for the page I read showing how they took a rolled up towel and placed it around the hips somehow, I didn't find it, but maybe you can look at the ones shown and make one or buy the pattern.
