Thread: sourcing chiffon?

I used to dye my own, but I no longer have the energy to do so (maybe when the kids are all in school?) Basically, I have more time for sewing than I did a while ago, but not as much as I used to when I did *everything* myself. So- I am looking for *good quality* relatively opaque chiffon in a good range of colors. I know, I've been spoilt being able to get special colors, but I promise not to be TOO unreasonable- the quality thing is a biggie for me tho. It looks like there are a lot of cheap sources online, but I want something that is not TOO sheer and which will hold up to vigorous dancing. Any recommendations for suppliers?

Thaisilks.com has 8mm silk chiffon in many colors for $7.20 per yard. They have heavier weights of chiffon and georgette, too, but don't seem to have any of those predyed.
