Thread: What do you like in a Zill, Sagat, Finger Cymbal bag/holder?

I am starting to think of my bellydance friends and the holidays. I have a bunch of oddly naped red fabric I bought online thinking it was velvet and it sort of is but I don't love the texture for wearing...if that makes sense?

I was thinking it would be a GREAT liner for zill bags (and a holiday stocking garland for my windows)

Bag Ideas:
I was thinking of making some with 2 pockets and using up some of the red as a liner so the zills on the right hand would be on one side and left on other...they would fold close and snap or tie or button shut.

Regular rectangular bag type deal

If I get it in gear i'll post progress pictures....I might try to sell some at halfla's to support my dance habit a bit...might even get a new CD out of it LOL!

How about instead of pockets for right and left you had a pocket for fingers and a pocket for thumbs. This would eliminate the "oh my word which finger does this go on" issue.

Or even a a four fold wallet situation so each zill has it's own pocket.

I would totally dig a 4 pocket wallet to keep them from clanging around in my purse! enough room to keep my needle & thread & extra elastic just in case would be cool too. (I usually wind about 7 inches of thread around a needle & stick it through the extra elastic, so it doesn't take up that much room, but still!)
