    Sewing Elastic in Bras

    I remember reading that you can improve, tighten fit by sewing in elastic. Can someone explain how this works?

    While I haven't tried this myself, Sarah Skinner demonstrates it in her I Love Turkish Belly Dance DVD, which has a nice costume workshop included in it. Basically it is the same as putting elastic in a thread casing into a belt. The elastic is put along the sides of the bra in a thread casing.
