Thread: Making a belt extender for tribal/tribaret belt?

Is it possible to make a decent looking extender for a tribal or tribaret style belt? I figure that's going to be easier for these styles than for cabaret, because it seems you'd have a little more leeway since they are sort of more relaxed styles. I figure a couple inches of a thick fabric or several layers of fabric, like you would use if you were making a belt, and a nice applique or something on top. Then sew hooks and eyes on the back to line up with the hooks and eyes on the belt.

If this would work, do you have any other ideas for it, or pictures where it's been done?

You can put O-rings on the end and closed it with a scarf, of with a piece of leder belt
