Thread: L Rose Trumpet Skirt - Classic, Deluxe, or Super Deluxe?

I am going to buy a trumpet skirt from L Rose Designs, but I'm not sure if I'm going to get a classic, deluxe, or super deluxe. Here is a link to the catalog:

Classic = 6 equal gores, $75
Deluxe = 6 equal gores + 1 big 7th gore, $85
Super Deluxe = deluxe gores (?) all the way around, $105

Anybody wanna explain the difference in fit and motion to me? :)

I like a lot of twirl, so I was thinking the super deluxe, but I have to save up a little longer for that. Is it worth it?

I have a classic and a deluxe. I like them both but will probably buy deluxe from now on for the extra swish factor

The classic has a tighter fit around the tops of my thighs which I'm not sure is flattering...I like the ease of the deluxe a bit bitter for my shape and I think it's more flattering for me. The only negative for the deluxe is that I felt like it was falling off my rear the first time I wore it because it has more weight in the back. So I like the deluxe a lot and if I ever get another classic I will have a high slit with a chiffon insert so it's not stuck on my thighs.

I'd LOVE to hear about the super deluxe from someone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Drool!

I guess the Super Deluxe is worth the extra $...I had a Deluxe and liked it much more than the Classic.

I've had all 3 types, and the Deluxe is by far my favorite.

I didn't really like the Super Deluxe, I felt the fit was very different from the others.
It was much looser around the thigh and knee area, which just didn't feel right for me,
and I didn't like how it looked--not as "sleeK" IMO

I have the Classic and the Deluxe. I prefer the Classic.

I prefer the close fit around the thighs - and I'm curvy! ..l;, I felt that the Deluxe, although it had the extra swish, also had extra weight at the back that felt a bit odd when moving, pulled the skirt down a bit at the back over time (which I have a problem with anyway due to the bubble butt), and was less flattering to the booty because it wasn't as snug under the bubble curve.

I do like sleek trumpet skirts in costumes generally, so I think the Deluxe/Super Deluxe is probably good for you if you typically like fuller skirts and more movement.

Opinion seems to vary, from preferring the classic to the deluxe... hmmm....

Anybody got any body pics of those skirts?

I would LOVE to see pictures of Deluxe or Super Deluxe dresses...L.Rose´s own gallery doesn´t show any of the new dresses.
