Has anyone viewed this? It looks like it's gotten good reviews on amazon and Sewing Pattern Review.com (http://sewing.patternreview.com).

I would love to make a fitted beledi dress and have my own homemade practice half tops work a little better for me. I think the 4 way stretch fabric used helps out but the proportions are always a little off it seems and I can't always just throw a dart in there to fix it. I also have some vest like tops in mind but haven't attempted because I know the pattern will need some reworking to work with my upper body.

Anyway....has anyone seen this DVD in real life?

I have not seen it, but a friend of mine has. She says it's basically the P/P Fit for Real People system, and only worth the money if you (a) like their system but (b) couldn't understand it from the book.

I personally detest tissue fitting. It's really hard to do by yourself with no dress form when you will be making a pattern bigger. I don't enjoy standing around in front of a mirror trying to "fill in" a split pattern with extra tissue paper. Their system never worked for me. Even though it has some drawbacks, I prefer the pivot-and-slide method of flat pattern alteration. Then I make a muslin and check the fit on that.
