Thread: Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips ~ gel eyeliner

I bought this last week. I used it for a small student recital & loved it. Goes on soooo easy. I have brown eyes so i bought the trio for brown eyes for $14.99 I got a gold gel eyeliner, copper gel eyeliner & a black gel eyeliner. the brush it came with was a decent brush. however i perfer using my own angled eyeliner brush. i could get a very thin line of eyeliner on & easily build it up.

Sounds pretty! I love metallic eyeliners---they really make your eyes pop, which is especially nice when you're tired. I haven't tried Physician's Formula though. I like L'Oreal's H.I.P. gold eyeliner as well as any of the metallic eyeliners from Sephora or MakeUp Forever.

And for anybody out there who's tempted by Milani brand (it's in the drug store) metallic eyeliner, just stay away! It's horrible. Their metallic pencils are so light that you can hardly even see them when you draw on a line. Big rip off.

I buy my Physicians Formula at Shoppers Drugmart. Do they have Shoppers in Montreal? If not let me know I can buy it for you here in Alberta & mail it to you save you shipping? Just let me know.

Awww thank you for offering to help. But, after a little "googleling" I found out that the Quebec's branch of Shoppers Drugmart is Pharmaprix. So I'll have a look this weekend!

They have it at Jean Coutu (there is one store every 2 blocks where I live)

I purchased it before the Holydays at Pharmaprix, and I'm using the brown eyes kit since then.

The sales lady at the drugstore told me that she's been having only good comments about that product. I'm love it and I'll buy other colors as well.

Wow. I tried to watch this. Skimmed the first 3 minutes of the video, when I thought she was FINALLY going to show/talk about the product and she started showing us the box it came in "and you can see it's clear" I gave up.

I may try the liners, depending on what colors they offer me! Usually they package plums and purples for green eyes, which do make the green pop but can also reflect pink into my eye and make me look red-rimmed if they're the wrong shade.

I have the green set & I love it! The 3 liners are marketed as "natural", "playful" & "intense". In the greens the "natural" is green with green sparkles; "playful" is purple with purple sparkles; and "intense" is black with green sparkles. And this stuff really does stay put! It's waterproof & no smudging or smearing. Even after wearing it all day I need to really put the makeup remover to it to get rid of it. I even once went to bed without bothering to remove it & it still looked good the next morning.
