What is the "reflection" in Ancient Reflections?
Is there anything special about the mirrors in the Ancient Reflections bra/belts that Dahlal sells? I bought a set on Bhuz that doesn't have any mirrors and I am thinking of adding my own. Are they just those little round craft mirrors? How are they attached? Any suggestions about what else might work in the centre of the medallions? Could someone please post a closeup photo of their medallions with mirrors? I can't tell from the website but it looks like they might have some beading around them. Thanks!

Nope. Nothing special. I added little crystals to mine.
Having said that, the AR set had mirrored danglies instead of / as well as coins. So that is part of the difference between the Ancient Reflections and and Ancient Reflections II.
If you go to Dahlal and check out the close ups, you'll see the difference.

As far as gluing, a multipurpose craft adhesive like E6000 should work. I don't usually use two-stage epoxies for crafting, but there are probably some of those that would work, too. You want something that works on both metal and glass (and plastic, if you plan to add acrylic stones).
You have a lot of options for what else you can add to your set to personalize it. There are all sorts of beads and chain on the market (no reason why you couldn't glue chain around the edges, and ball chain might give you just the compromise you like). If you would rather use stones than mirrors on the medallions, you could go for something flat-backed and faceted or a rounded cabochon. Online vendors usually have a bigger selection than big-box craft stores.

Re: What is the "reflection" in Ancient Reflections?
One experience with retrofitting mirrors: I used rubber cement from the home center, but E6000 should be at least as good. Problem I encountered is that if the mirrors are bigger than the very small natural setting created by the medallions, they can crack. It's not a big deal, since the mirrors are safely in place with the above glue choices, and it's not visible unless one gets very close, but if you're a perfectionist with costumes, it's something to keep in mind.

Thanks for the good suggestions. Now I just have to make up my mind on what colour/fabric to mount the set on and what to use for embellishing. The fun part!

This brings to mind still another reason we should wear shoes when dancing: those glass mirrors could pop out when we're performing! I know mine is missing one or two of those mirrors, and I have no idea now where they are.
