can't find a pattern!
I need to make a bolero type jacket for a male dancer and for the life of me I can not find a pattern! Any leads? I can modify a shirt pattern if I HAVE to, but I'd rather not!
When I search for bolero tops, most of what I come up with is wrap top patterns, which to me are not boleros, per se, and are womens patterns anyway- any tips on search words to try?

Re: can't find a pattern!
Would Atira's "Ibrahim's Cepken" pattern work? Apparently, there are a few copies of Folkwear's discontinued "Algerian Suit" for sale on the market (patternsoftime.com is still listing it). I'm not seeing much that would be useful from the mainstream commercial pattern companies. There are some historical recreation patterns that would be my next choice, but they'd require modifications.

Re: can't find a pattern!
I entered bolero patterns in a search engine, numerous options appeared. I did not read the details but the first link mentioned a free bolero pattern.

Re: can't find a pattern!
Thank you, that free pattern I think I should be able to adapt for a guy's physique fairly easily- I love patterns that use easy to see geometry as a base! so much easier to adjust!
& Corey, thanks for that excuse to go browse artemisimports again...

Folkwear's Greek vest for men is another option: http://www.folkwear.com/126.html
