where do you find these?

one of the bhuzzers here sell them. she makes shoes and you can select from her catalog what you want. but i forgot her name. sorry!

I know Tina Sargent (McManus) no longer deal with the custom ballroom dance shoes, but have you tried corresponding with the new owner of Centerstage (the shoe store that Tina sold)? The first link is to the pics of the styles and the second link is the contact information. It may be worth a try to get in touch with the new owner of Centerstage or friend Tina McManus on Facebook and ask her for a suggestion.

I got a quote for that and it was so expensive I may as well buy new ones.

Elegance will do it, and I can get some made through one of our shoemakers. costs about 125 (not sure about elegance) but they do it. I can ask very fine as well if you like. I get LOTS of ballroom shoes.

I can get veryfine shoes with the street soles.... keep in mind it changes how flexible they are.

Look up Comme Il Faut shoes. Handmade, dancer couture shoes from Buenos Aires with a sole for outside. Depending where you are, there are a few websites to peruse that routinely sell CIF shoes. Fair warning, they arent cheap but are worth every penny at $200 a pop. They last a life time are super sexy (as in regular ballroom shoes look like granny-wear in comparison) and are ridiculously comfortable. Order a size down, because they will break in to your foot without a single blister. Once they are too big, you cant wear them... take it from me, a lifelong ballroom dancer. Other downside, not too easy to find nude ones. CIF shoes are built for show so you get crazy colors but usually a gold or black is available if you look. Give them a try, you will never want to wear another brand of shoes again.
