Thread: Show us your pants costumes!

I looove the look of pants costumes. I have never owned one but I am considering it. Show me yours! I want to ogle them!

I got one of these pants costumes from Karolinka. Hope she doesn't mind me posting her original picture. Don't have any pics of me in it yet.

Just curious...Other than those cheap butterfly sets, does anyone make a pants costume that is not: (a) bellbottoms, (b) gathered at the ankle, or (c) leggings? Nobody seems to use straight leg or full (palazzo) pants for female costumes, although you see the straight-leg style used for men's costumes.

If I were going to wear a pants costume - and I have slim hips, bum and thighs, so theoretically I might be able to pull it off - I would definitely want coverage in the crotch area, either long fringe or one of those little short skirts that tribal dancers wear sometimes. I just wouldn't feel comfortable dancing with the crotch area being so visible. But that's just for me. You guys go ahead and rock those pants if you feel good in them!

I saw a dancer with boot-cut style chiffon pants under a matching chiffon skirt. I thought it was a gorgeous look. She made them herself. I've never seen another costume like it.

I had some full palazzo pants that i used for tribal, but I have never seen a cabaret costume with them.

I love wearing pants to dance in restaurants. I make fancy metallic lycra bellbottoms to go along with all my bra and belt sets.

But this costume (which I'm actually selling right now here on Bhuz) came with the pants.

You'd probably like the one I'm wearing...the top of the pants is like a hip wrap/mini skirt...it's a separate piece from the pants but sewn onto the top of the pants if that makes sense. I had a costume that was just beaded pants and didn't care for it much. I felt like the crotch area was too exposed

it is! custom ordered it from sim moda evi, and it's too big for me now. Have to take it in and haven't been motivated to do it. Now that I'm dipping a toe back into performing, I may find an occasion to wear it. The pants are nice in that they are palazzo so they don't give that feeling of crotch hugging that those tight in the thighs do, imo. The fringe from the belt is also a nice cover to make extra sure. I love this costume.

so not that excitiing- but I love the whol combination of this...

plain back melodia's with tempest corset belt and corset vest.

I really was modelling them for the day and they needed a fill in dancer so I grabed a CD off her table and did a little diddy. Obviously I loved them so much I brought the set home :)

its a happy pants and corset stuff combination- probably not what your looking for- but they are pants! and I have no picture i'm sorry.

That costume has been #1 on my wish list ever since i saw it!! I love pants costumes, just need to find one to suit my shape. If you ever decide to put this baby up for sale, drop me a line!

I will do so! If I remember correctly, I bought a lovely blue bedlah from you that was almost a perfect fit out of the box. I ordered this to match my measurements then. This should fit you

I'd love to see this one, I like the idea of palazzo pants, but the link doesn't work for me. What is the name of the costume or of the designer? Direct links to Dahlal never seem to work for me.

Thanks, Kina. That is a cool costume, I do love Sims.

Love that Sim costume, quite unique! I also love these two that I have pics of. The purple is one of Mohamed Gomaa's he is on FB, I like the belt skirt effect. The jade is different with the tummy cover part.

Unfortunately I don't know. I saw the costume on FB on "Brand New and used Bellydance Costumes for sale" page. http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=498628705314 I can't find the pic now. But remember something about the dancer being Brazilian so maybe she had it made in Brazil. Maybe a dressmaker would be able to make something similar and I think the silver bra & belt is separate from the pants.

Hey, I got one of these too. I loved her stuff - it was so well made.

You really can't tell from this photo but this costume has some of the most amazing bead work. It's got huge 3 D flowers. I'll try and take some pics of the detail.
