Thread: Bella bedlahs/budget

So Teacher suggested we get gold Bella bedlahs for our troupe. (yay! :D) I believe the general budget is aimed towards 150-200 Euros. However, i've decided i'd rather put in more than that and get a good, really nice, gold set that i'll be able to use for a long time. (i asked yesterday at the Bella store and was told that was no problem at all to include into the troupe order (if it had been i might've scratched the idea), i just had to specify my budget and if there's anything specific i want).

i don't know how much budget i need to count, i don't know how much detail/bling you can get for a specific budget. would any of you mind posting pics of Bella bedlahs you got, and let me know what your budget was for it? (and, if there was anything specific you asked for, on it).
the swapmeet is a great resource for this, but there's mostly full costumes and i'm only interested in the bra/belt sets.

also, accessories or not? i don't know if Teacher is planning on accessories with these or not, but if not, i don't know if i should get some anyways, and how much they'll influence the budget...

I think this is a great idea. It might also be good to add when the costume was ordered, as I have heard that prices have shifted somewhat.

I thought Bella bedlah's started around 300 euro? That's what they were priced last time I visited the shop. And Yay! for getting a pro troupe costume!

Did you make sure this was ok with your teacher? While I totally understand your reasoning, she might have a certain look in mind.
Besides-a Bella set will be something you can use a long time, regardless of how fancy it is.

yes, if you stand out too much from the rest of the troupe it defeats the purpose of ordering a troupe costume.
