Has anyone ever purchased from Handmade Costumes?

I posted this question in the vendor/buyer concern, but that forum doesn't get as much face time as this one.

There is a facebook store called Handmade Costumes and Handmade Costumes Pluse, which are the same. One is just geared towards plus sizes. Anyways, she has a red and white dress that is calling my name and she's only charging about $185.00 US dollars for it.

However, I don't want to unload $185.00 on something that might be a POS.

Never purchased from this vendor, I don't know who they are. However, there is a photo from Dahlal International in one the albums (white costume). This makes me question the integrity of this merchant. Be careful.

i got a costume from him. he's really nice. i think he does a lot of knock offs of the top designers (eman and others).

i can't say the one i got is my favorite costume, but it's not bad for the price.

Re: Has anyone ever purchased from Handmade Costumes?

    I got two things.
1... a galabeya. red with a bra...It was made REALLY fast, but Bra was crap, and not what was pictured. Also, seemed to be some miscommunication in sizing. Price was cheap, so it wasn't overpriced or anything, but since it wasn't what is was in the picture.... what I thought I was getting, He took it back.

2... Shamadan. It's Awesome. I LOVE it. It was no super expensive, and arrived quickly. Like any shamadan, needed some adjustments, but nothing more than any other.

Shipping was quick, but was more than what he quoted. But didn't insist on more because it wasn't quoted, but I split the difference when I sent him the money.

Looking at the pics.... a lot seem to be taken from Isisexchange.
