I need to know as well, mine are damaged from sitting too close to an oil diffuser. They smell awesome but the silk has come off the staves

I use Elmer's glue and water, I estimate 2-to-1 ratio to insure a thin glue layer. A thick glue layer can cause friction and pick the silk when opening and closing the fans.

Aleene's has a thinner formulation of their craft glue. I think it used to be called "Thin Tacky Glue," but it looks like they've rebranded it "Easy Flow Tacky Glue." If regular craft glue doesn't hold, I would move up to something like E-6000, but use a popsicle stick or an old plastic ID card to spread the glue as thinly as possible.
