Thread: For those who LOVE the Pharonics Butterfly skirts -Like me!! :)

Dahlal ahs some great new skirts that look like the Pharonnics Butterfly skirts just without all the sequins ;) They are Lotus Skirts. I have just ordered a few:

Very pretty! What colors did you order?

I ordered:
Chocolate/Copper/Turquoise
Sage/Rose/Ivory
Violet/Peach/Dark orange

Plus I splurged and ordered 4 other double chiffon and pleated skirts in kiwi, rust,blush and dusty lilac :)

I knew you'd love those skirts. I saw the pic in the email and thought "Monsoon!"

it's all good!

I finally got them. Mail has been slow getting here with all the flooding in our region. All roads cut off so mail slowly being flown in! The skirts are lovely however the hemming is a bit heavy. Ill post pics when I have a chance.. I may end up looking into getting the hem done with a sequin trim If I can figure out how to do it LOL!!!

Thanks for the review! If you have a sewing machine, putting sequin trims on is easy. You just need to use a zig zag stitch... make sure it is set to half as wide as the width of a sequin or somewhere around there. Then you just make sure that the strung sequins are all going the right way (ones closest to machine needle on top of the ones yet to be sewn so you don't get any backups or anything) and sew away. You don't even need to pin... just sew. Also, you'll want to use a medium weight ball point needle on the machine.
