Stain Removal
How does one remove a stain from chiffon? I'm not sure of the origin. But it is light gray chiffon. The stain is darker gray. Maybe a grease stain?
Any suggestions would be great. : )

Re: Stain Removal
Spot cleaning with Dawn dish detergent works well for grease stains. Plain chiffon is washable. I like the spot cleaner that comes in the Dryel kit for stains of unknown origin.

Re: Stain Removal
For oily stains I sprinkle baby powder or corn starch on the area. It will absorb the oil and, to date, I have not encountered any discoloration from the powder.
Club soda is a great spot remover. I recall using it to clean silk blouses and ties.
