Becky Denbow, who used to be my imediate next door neighbor, is a retired dancer and instructor from Habeeba's Dance of the Arts during the 70's.

Recently she has seen me perform at a couple of haflas.
Today, she gave me everything that was left of her costumes.
And to think, for a long time we didn't even know about each other's belly dance involvment.
She hand made everything here.

You just can't make this kind of stuff up.
And honestly I really needed this, it's been tough lately, really tough.

I was told to call her and invite her to the next performance when I wear these things.
However, repairs need to be made and there is this little issue of extended in different directions so that it will fit me.
Here's the outline:
The belts are 34", my hips are about 42"
The bra is a B cup, I'm a 38D/36DD
But the skirts are the right length!

Wow! How generous she is and how lucky you are! When I was in graduate school at Miami University in Oxford OH, I would drive down to take classes at Habeeba's! It was in the mid 90's, so I think I missed your friends teachings! Still, it was a great studio. Little house with fabulous curtains!

Changing the bra's up to a D isn't that hard. I have done this either by mounting the existing cup on another cup or taking the majority of the decor and transfering them to another bra.

I have mounted a B onto a C before but the style of decoration I used would not work with these sets. (I mounted the bra to the upper part of the cups and covered the bottom with fabric in the "u" shaped style and continued on up the straps.) The cups on these bras are also very different.

So absolutley I want pics!
